Parking & Camping
While many comparable airports are small runways in a large field, we love the character of a small field amongst the woods of Whidbey Island. Due to the unique character of our land, one of our first improvement projects was focused on developing spaces suited for our guests to stay and enjoy the scenery. As such, we welcome aviationists to make use of our picnic areas, fire pits, and camping.
If you plan to stay overnight, we encourage you to make an overnight tie-down or camping contribution. We receive no public funding, so your generosity helps us stretch our maintenance and improvement budget. These fees can be added to the pay box on our field kiosk, or payment can be made through Venmo: @WhidbeyAirpark_W10.
*Please be aware of any ongoing burn bans in the county as the firepits are often limited or prohibited during some summer months.

Payment Methods
Whether you are camping for a weekend or tying down for a month, we have various payment options for our guests. Feel free to drop a check in our kiosk at the airport; you can also submit an online payment via our square store or Venmo.
